About Bagaces:

Bagaces is a town in Guanacaste, located off the Pan-American Highway approximately 25 minutes from Liberia. The town is situated between two major nature preserves in Guanacaste, El Rincón and Parque Nacional Palo Verde. The Bagaces Waterfall is just a few minutes down the road showcasing an expansive 50± foot waterfall, perfect for swimming and sunbathing at the base. Río Perdido is the number one area attraction for adventure travelers seeking white water rafting, biking or hiking through dense forestry and vast canyons or zip lining through the forest’s canopy. The small town is home to striking natural attractions, making it well worth a visit!

As a versatile cattle ranch and farmland, Rancho Aloe has the capacity to carry 1,200± head of cattle and other livestock. Up until 2014, the farm grew over 7 million aloe plants. All ranching activity and aloe operations have ceased as the seller is preparing the property for sale. Approximately 480± acres (200± hectares) are currently planted by a tenant farmer in cantaloupe and watermelon and over 480± acres (200± hectares) of rice are planted each year during the rainy season.
